21 May Leap of Faith
Hi everyone, it’s been a while since of written a blog post and here’s why……
Quick sidenote: the picture above is me and my Aunt Becky from last summer. Becky is basically super cool, funny and an awesome human being.
As the title states, I’m taking a leap of faith. I’m resigning from my school nurse position so I can fully focus on my health coaching business. I had set these rules in my head before I would resign from my nursing job. One of those was I would have a certain amount of consistant clients. Well….that wasn’t happening as my focus would always gravitate to my family (wont change that for the world) and my current job. When life is busy, my health coaching business kept getting pushed deeper down the list to focus on as far as networking and putting myself out there. Fortuneatly I have a couple Dr’s whom refer clients to me. I’m consistantly averaging 1-2 clients and I am loving my time with them. I have met some awesome people that I have had the honor of working with. With each new client I’m finding that I really want to do that ALL the time. It feeds my soul. I did a lot of work on myself during my health coach studies and therafter, you can read a little more about that here. I love giving back to others the way I was supported on my journey.
Aunt Becky is representing all the people who support and love me as I jump into this new journey. I have a supportive husband, family and friends who see what I’m capable of sometimes more than I do myself……it’s time for me to have faith in myself and GO FOR IT! As grateful as I am for all those people in my life, I have to have faith in MYSELF. Can you relate? Are there things in your life that you don’t jump into as you have set “rules” or “guidelines” to meet before you just go for it? Those rules I made for myself just weren’t happening……so here I go! I honestly thought about doing it last year and got scared. I felt too much pressure and had a fear of failure. Well, fear is a LIAR! I’m going to let my faith be bigger than my fear. I found an acronym that I love:
Face Everything And Rise
This picture just makes me happy. Jumping for JOY! We even have my cousin’s kiddo in on the fun:) We have a few more changes going on in my world that I’ll be sharing later. Right now I’m focusing on finishing the school year with an amazing group of co-workers, teachers and leaders. I have enjoyed my time at the school and grateful for the opportunity I had as a school nurse. I’ve got a list of topics I want to write about and looking forward to sharing more soon. What do you all want to hear about? Let me know!
